The whole idea behind Net Neutrality is that any IP can connect to any other IP with out a fee to be prioritized in a network, first come first serve basically.

Abolishment means that companies will buy the rights to have their network traffic prioritized over other less paying or non-paying IPs. I'm pretty sure this means that if you're playing Yogstation and Netflix bid more for your network path to deliver movies to your neighbor or someone that your Yogstation connection either gets bumped or slowed down.

It's okay though, smaller companies like those that host Yogstation can pay for priority connection, they just have to outbid google. Also we are just going to have to trust that the prices ISP companies quote us that other people are paying for priority are actually what they really are paying, many people don't know this: ISP companies are some of the most honest utilities they would NEVER lie to make more money.

I might be mixed up here, but I am pretty sure this is how net neutrality works and how a lack of it would work. And if not, correct me please- but I still think loss of it would hurt Yogstation and every other indie server.

Will it work that way? If it's hosted in the US then even getting through to the EU pipes would be effected?

We're not hosted in the US.

And even if Yogstation was hosted in the US we are hosted by OVH which would probably grant us some sort security from throttling anyway being a major hosting provider. although it really depends on how strict ISPs will be with throttling if it does happen.
